Los Angeles Lakers Take Down Nuggets, One Win Away from Finals

The Los Angeles Lakers have taken a commanding 3-1 lead in the Western Conference Finals against the Denver Nuggets. Anthony Davis and LeBron James led the way for the Lakers, scoring a combined 60 points. Davis got off to a hot start, scoring the Laker’s first 12 points.

Dwight Howard was inserted into the starting lineup, and responded with 12 points and 11 rebounds, six coming off the offensive glass.

Rajon Rondo was also impactful in his time on the court. Rondo contributed 11 points, five rebounds, and seven assists in 21 minutes of action. He also moved to eighth in the all-time playoff assist leaders list, surpassing Scottie Pippen with 1,049 and counting.

The game was a back and forth affair, with the Lakers often going on runs of ten points or more, only for the Nuggets to respond, cutting the leads within single digits.
