Brandon Ingram Named NBA’s Most Improved Player of the Year

If you are a Devonte Graham fan, look away.

On Monday evening, the NBA announced that New Orleans Pelicans All-Star Brandon Ingram has been named the league’s Most Improved Player of the Year after a remarkable first year outside of California.

Ingram, who was originally moved to New Orleans in the blockbuster Anthony Davis trade last summer, received 42 of the 100 first place votes, beating out Bam Adebayo and Luka Doncic. Jayson Tatum and Graham finished fourth and fifth in this year’s voting.

Ingram averaged 24.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game, earning his first career All-Star selection.
