Kyle Lowry to Donate 200 Thanksgiving Meals to GTA Families in Need
Is it too early to build a Kyle Lowry statue already?
For a fifth consecutive year, Toronto Raptors All-Star Kyle Lowry and his wife, Ayahna, will donate 200 meals to help families in need all around the GTA just in time for Thanksgiving. In total, the hampers will feed nearly 1,000 people in the city.
Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, Lowry will not be able to do the delivering himself, but with the help of four community agencies, the food will be distributed to the families. The four agencies are the Toronto Kiwanis Boys and Girls Club, Fred Victor – Regent Park Community Resource Centre, Native Women’s Resource Centre, and Rhema Christian Ministries,

The hampers will also include kid-friendly giveaways as well as personal protective equipment (PPE).
Lowry and his wife founded the charity back in 2013 with the goal of helping improve the lives of the underprivileged citizens in both Philadelphia and Toronto. Education reform is another topic incredibly important to Lowry’s charity and the point guard wore the slogan on the back of his jersey inside of the bubble.
We must cherish Kyle at all cost.
