League Rules the Los Angeles Lakers Must Continue to Pay Luol Deng
Once again, the Los Angeles Lakers were denied their career-ending injury application for Luol Deng.
Yeah, he’s still around cashing cheques after being signed for an insane amount of money and term that one season when the Lakers showed Timofey Mozgov all the money. How times have changed with Rob Pelinka in the front office and LeBron James on the court covering all of the not-so-smart things the organization has done the last decade.

Anyways, Deng who last played for the Minnesota Timberwolves in the 2018-19 season is still owed $10-million over the next two season from the Lakers. The NBA deems that Deng does not actually have a career-ending injury therefore voiding the Lakers application.
Put it this way, Deng is not suffering from a career-ending injury, he just sucks at basketball now.
