James Harden Rejects Extension, Demands Trade to the Nets
James Harden wants out.
On Monday, it was reported that the Houston Rockets superstar guard has rejected a two-year, $103 million extension and has demanded a trade to the Brooklyn Nets.
This comes off the heels of what has been a full-fledged collapse of the organization.

Weeks ago, general manager Daryl Morey stepped down while head coach Mike D’Antoni chose to leave the team. Now, there appears to be a rift between Russell Westbrook and Harden, both of whom appear to be very much on the trade block. The interest for Westbrook has been minimal at best, but Harden has heard his name pop up in rumours suggesting he may end up on an Eastern Conference powerhouse of the likes of the Philadelphia 76ers and Nets.
A move is coming and it is starting to look increasingly likely that the Rockets pull the trigger on Harden, signalling a bit of a rebuild. Earlier this evening, the Rockets have already moved Robert Covington for picks and Trevor Ariza, suggesting that the team may be ready to start anew.
This is what NBA offseasons are all about!
