Amid Trade Rumours, Harden Reports to Houston Rockets Camp

With his future uncertain, James Harden has reported to Houston Rockets training camp today.

According to reports, the disgruntled superstar took his required COVID-19 test and will be able to re-join his team for practice upon being cleared.

Harden’s arrival has been met with plenty of rumours about the demise of the organization as a whole with rival members claiming that the culture of the organization is eroding from the top-down. Outside of Harden, Daryl Morey and Mike D’Antoni both left the team this offseason on their own accord, while Russell Westbrook asked for a trade and his request has since been granted.

The organization now looks completely different and Harden is clearly unhappy – still eager to facilitate a trade to a contending team. Earlier in the offseason, it has been reported that Harden was hopeful of being traded to the Brooklyn Nets, but he has since expanded his list of suitors to a number of playoff contending teams, including the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Rockets remain adamant about keeping Harden, but if Harden’s behaviour becomes detrimental to the team’s short-term and long-term success, their hands may be tied.

The drama continues!
