Harden to Remain Professional, but Still Wants Trade as He Returns

Believe it or not, James Harden still wants out of Houston.

Despite the acquisition of the oft-injured duo of John Wall and DeMarcus Cousins, Harden remains adamant about moving on from Houston.

The main questions should not be directed at Harden but the very top as it seems like the issues are permeating from the front office. Bad culture is difficult to erase and after a number of notable members of the Rockets have moved on, it only makes sense that Harden wants to follow suit. It’s important to understand that the problem does not seem to be the players, but the vision and the leadership.

Look no further than what PJ Tucker has been saying about the organization throughout the early goings of training camp.

That being said, as Harden is set to return to camp, the superstar plans to remain professional.

To this point, the Rockets organization is in no rush to move on from Harden, but depending on the play of the team, push may come to shove. Harden has communicated the Brooklyn Nets and Philadelphia 76ers as his preferred two landing spots if he is traded, although the Miami Heat appear to be in the mix as well.

If there is a team that can use a lot of winning right out of the gate, it’s the Houston Rockets!
