“And I took that personally,” – Michael Jordan, Steph Curry
Stephen Curry took to the court with a personal vendetta against the nay-sayers and critics Sunday night, and the Portland Trailblazers were on the receiving end of that vendetta.
Curry absolutely torched the Trailblazer defence, scoring a career-best 62 points on 18-for-31 shooting from the field, connecting on 8-of-16 three-point attempts.
Curry was a +20 in his 36 minutes on the court. With the performance, Curry became the second-oldest player to score 60+ points in a game, surpassing Wilt Chamberlain. Curry only trails Kobe Bryant, who scored 60+ points in his last game at 37 years old.
