Jayson Tatum, Boston Celtics take down the Toronto Raptors 126–114

The Toronto Raptors are off to their worst start since the 05′-06′ season. The Raptors got off to another quick start against the Boston Celtics Monday night, taking a nine-point lead after one quarter of action.

The Celtics responded with a 38-14 second-quarter barrage, taking a 15-point lead into halftime. The story of the game was Jayson Tatum, who continually torched the Raptor defence on-route to 40 points, six rebounds, and two assists.

Fred VanVleet led the way for Toronto with 35 points, seven rebounds, and four assists in his 33 minutes out on the court. Pascal Siakam had 22 points, seven rebounds, and three assists in the loss.

The Celtics out-rebounded the Raptors 53-to-37, and shot a blistering 51.7% from three point land. The Raptors look to get back on track Wednesday as they take on the Phoenix Suns on the road.
