Bradley Beal Frustrated with Wizards Play, but Doesn’t Want Trade
Earlier in the season, Bradley Beal set an interesting NBA record.
It’s an NBA record he probably wants zero part of.
Okay, I’ll get to the point. Beal became the first player ever to score 40 points in 10 straight losing efforts. Pretty spectacular and a testament to how terrible and unlucky the Washington Wizards have been this season.
That being said, Beal wants to remain in the nation’s capitol and help find the solution. Sources close to The Athletic suggest that the Wizards have no interest in trading Beal at this time and in fact, Beal is said to be “privately frustrated and confused with the perpetual portrayal of his situation, according to sources familiar with his thinking.” Seems like it may be time to leave Mr. Beal alone.
“(The Wizards) have maintained what they’ve always maintained,” one rival executive said. “They’re building something in Washington around Beal.”
Beal is in the midst of a career season and is averaging an outrageous 34.9 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game.
