Portland Trail Blazers Add Former Raptor Fan Favourite Hollis-Jefferson
Former Toronto Raptors fan favourite has found himself a job!
After spending the 2019-20 season with the Raptors, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson received a training camp invite from the Minnesota Timberwolves. The 26-year old would be cut before the start of the season.
Now, Hollis-Jefferson is back in the league after getting picked up by the Portland Trail Blazers. Hollis-Jefferson becomes the second former Raptor to join the Blazers in recent weeks as Norman Powell was acquired by the team at the trade deadline in exchange for Rodney Hood and Gary Trent Jr.

In his lone season with the Raptors, Hollis-Jefferson averaged 7.0 points and 4.7 rebounds per game while coming off the bench with the second unit. He also provided the Raptors with a good blend of physicality and the ability to defend multiple positions. The Blazers will count on Hollis-Jefferson to provide a similar impact as they begin to ramp up for a playoff push.
Good to see Hollis-Jeffers back in the league!
