Beal Eying Trade?

Bradley Beal Mulling Over Requesting Trade from the Washington Wizards

Bradley Beal is no longer joining Team USA at the Olympics so one could say he has some extra time on his hands.

Well, seems like Beal has woke up and has chosen chaos.

According to sources close to the team, Beal is strongly considering requesting a trade from the Washington Wizards ahead of Thursday night’s NBA Draft. Beal is set to enter the final year of his contract with the Wizards this coming season.

“He knows he has to make a decision before the draft,” one source said.

Beal has been adamant on multiple occasions in the past that he hopes to remain in Washington despite the team’s continued dysfunction and inability to build a contending team around him. According to Bleach Report, Beal would be open to the idea of being moved to the Boston Celtics, Golden State Warriors, Miami Heat or Philadelphia 76ers.

“Beal’s the guy right now,” one assistant general manager said. “The one guy that could be available, that could help you win the whole thing.”

Hold onto your seats because a trade may come sooner than you think.

“It’s just so much easier to make a deal when you know what the draft picks are, as opposed to future picks,” another high-ranking team official said.

The NBA offseason is officially here.
