Toronto Raptors Believed to be One of the Teams in on Ben Simmons
Ben Simmons had one of the more disappointing playoff runs in recent history.
As the pressure continues to surround the Philadelphia 76ers young star over his lack of shooting ability, the Sixers have began taking calls from interested parties.
According to Marc Stein, the Cleveland Cavaliers, Indiana Pacers, Minnesota Timberwolves, Sacramento Kings and Toronto Raptors have all expressed interest in trading for Simmons. There is also an expectation that other teams will join trade talks as one could imagine would be the case whenever a young and controllable All-Star calibre player is placed on the market.

The three-time All-Star will turn 24 later this month and has four seasons at nearly $150 million remaining on his current deal.
Despite his lack of shooting ability, Simmons has become one of the more versatile guards in the entire NBA. Finishing the season as a finalist for the league’s Defensive Player of the Year award, Simmons is one of the best playmaking and rebounding guards in the NBA, with elite slashing ability.
The Sixers guard has also opted out of participating in the upcoming Olympic Games in favour of focusing on his mental game and skill development. Still only 23-years of age, it is unfair to think that a player as talented as Simmons will not be able to take the next step in his development.
Now the only question that remains is, has Simmons played his last game with the Sixers?
