Heat Star Tyler Herro Strapping On a Pair of Boxing Gloves this Offseason
He’s surely no boxer, but Tyler Herro is taking a different approach to his training this offseason.
Training doesn’t always need to look pretty to be effective.
Case in point, in a recent video surfacing of Tyler Herro taking up boxing, the jabs and uppercuts are by no means textbook. But by adding a different dimension to his training, Herro is shocking his body in a way he never has before as he looks to work on his cardio and endurance through boxing.
After a disappointing sophomore season, credit the young Miami Heat star for looking to change things up as he looks towards the 2021-22 regular season. Per some additional research, boxing can also aid in overall body strength, improved hand-eye coordination, increased muscle mass, decreased stress, and even improved sleep quality.
With all the work that Herro has already been putting in during the offseason, we will definitely be seeing a different Tyler Herro in his third NBA season.
