Danny Green Pays Homage to Canada, Toronto Raptors with New Tattoo
Danny Green will always have a place in Toronto Raptors history.
He may have just spent a year in Toronto, but very quickly Green became one of the more beloved Raptors in recent memory. This week, the former Raptors shooting guard revealed a brand new tattoo which pays homage to Toronto and the championship he helped the Raptors win in 2019.
Green originally came to Toronto as part of a blockbuster deal which brought Kawhi Leonard to Canada.

Despite only spending one year in Toronto, Green very quickly fell in love with the city and even made numerous public appearance after his confirmed signing with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Canada’s own Steve Wiebe of Abbottsford designed his tribute tattoo to the Raptors. The tattoo includes a mix of Raptors, Toronto, and Canadian- themed imagery. The CN Tower appears superimposed over the Raptors trademark claw tear, a roaring velociraptor clutching the Larry O’Brien Trophy, a maple leaf, and the numbers “6” and “19” to commemorate the city and year of the championship.
After two seasons away from the Raptors, Green will finally make his return to Toronto as a member of the Philadelphia 76ers this coming season and will finally receive his championship ring.
