Rehab Trip

Raptors Star Pascal Siakam Assigned to 905, Set to Begin Rehab

The Toronto Raptors are slowly working their way back to full strength.

Off to an inconsistent 2-3 start to the new regular season, the Raptors are hoping to see a key member of their team back sooner rather than later.

Pascal Siakam, who underwent offseason surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder, has been assigned to the 905 along with Yuta Watanabe. According to head coach Nick Nurse, both Siakam and Watanabe were pull participants in practice earlier this week and will begin their ramp up in G League camp this coming week.

The initial timeline for Siakam ‘s return was set at approximately five months, meaning the team is hoping to see the former All-Star back in the lineup at some point in November, with the ideal date being around US Thanksgiving. Nurse mentioned that Siakam looked very good in practice, but should begin full contact runs with the 905.

The 27-year old forward is coming off an up-and-down year in which he averaged 21.4 points and 7.2 rebounds per game.
